WE MAKE REAL ESTATE MOBILE!

Any real estate brokerage, be it private or commercial, is a process characterized by an average of at least 80% idle and – most importantly – inefficient mass viewings. This is mostly due to the fact that properties are not mobile. An actual absurdity in today’s time! Therefore, we have made it our mission to provide brokers and real estate agents with an easy and affordable tool that allows anyone to make properties mobile in the form of a virtual tour. Ogulo mobilizes agents and everyone else involved in the mediation process (vendors, buyers, tenants, and subcontractors) to liberate them of said inefficiencies.

Our History

Ogulo started off in 2012 as a small startup. By now, with over 40 employees and 5,000 happy customers, we have become the market leader in the DACH region. We would, of course, like to build on this success and achieve further challenging goals.

2019

Our team now consists of more than 40 employees

Time does not stand still and neither do we. In 2019 we launch our new Ogulo Alpha system, which allows our customers to create 360° VR tours in a third of the original time needed.

May

2018

We are expanding into the US and start growing Ogulo’s customer base locally

Our team continues to grow, so we rented a second office building on the premises.

In September we also take part in the TV program "Das Vorstellungsgespräch" (The Job Interview). We hire a sales representative Beatrice, who still strengthens our team today.

September

2017

Ogulo grows particularly fast in 2017 - from 20 to 40 employees

We are planning our expansion into the US, the largest market for real estate with over 86,000 offices. We quickly found a business partner responsible for local support: Max lives in Scottsdale and he will form the connection between the US and Germany.

2016

We move to our present headquarters in Cologne, Germany. By now almost 20 employees work at Ogulo.

2015

Our customers can now use the Ricoh cameras, which are not only cheaper but also easier to use

In January we launch our Ogulo configurator, which allows customers to create their own tours. The price can be reduced from 100€ to less than 10€ per tour.

In June the API connection to ImmobilienScout, the largest real estate portal in Germany, is created, in July the Ogulo mobile app is launched, which simplifies the tour creation even further. In September we are hiring our first sales manager.

January

2014

We are present at many events and trade fairs and thus become known to an ever broader mass in the real estate industry. This is also reflected in Ogulo's growing customer base.

2013

In 2013 our first employee is hired. By the end of the year, less than 5 employees are looking after more than 100 customers

In September Florentino gives a presentation to over 350 brokers at the IMMO-PROFI Meeting. This turning point not only gives the newly founded Ogulo 71 new customers but also access to further multipliers in the industry.

Until November, Daniel and Florentino work in a co-working space, but due to the growing team, Ogulo moves into their very own first office.

Thanks to the APIs to the biggest German CRMs, customers can use Ogulo even more efficiently.

2012

The product is successfully accepted on the market and the customer base is constantly growing

Florentino visits every new customer on site to show how to create 360° VR tours with the SLR camera. At this point, each tour is created manually by the brothers. They also take care of the complete shipping process of the cameras. In close dialogue with the first customers the password and analytics tools are developed - these features still offer important added value today.

The agency "Panoramawunder" becomes a Software as a Service company, called Ogulo. Daniel and Florentino used the Latin word "oculus" as their name. Today "Ogulo" is googled 41 times more often in Germany as the term "virtual tour". Ogulo has thus established itself as a generic brand for "virtual reality in the real estate industry".

2011

After realizing that their business model is not scalable, the brothers rethink their target group

The individual tours must be always tailor-made for each customer and follow-up orders are rare due to minimal to no changes in the facilities.

The two of them come across professional real estate agents, as they regularly need new tours with their constantly fluctuating real estate portfolios. But it takes a lot of persuasion to position this digital product in a digitally distant industry.

In May the German company Sieger & Sieger Immobilien becomes the first customer. As a franchisee of ERA Real Estate, the company opens the doors to around 60 other franchise companies for the brothers. With this reference, Daniel and Florentino succeed in winning 13 further customers from ERA for themselves.

2010

During their studies in computer science and industrial engineering, the brothers Daniel and Florentino Trezek founded the agency "Panoramawunder". Within the framework of this agency, the young entrepreneurs create virtual 360° tours for the hotel industry, gastronomy or leisure facilities.
